"Messages from Morgan" is an interactive and groundbreaking exploration documentary, unlike anything ever attempted before.
Imagine the emotional depth of “My Octopus Teacher,” blended with the spiritual force of “Whale Rider” - yet told through the voice and energy of a real orca, and her fellow kin.
This project offers a transformational lens into dolphin and whale consciousness, weaving together animal communication, science, indigenous wisdom, investigative journalism, and the arts to rewrite the human story with cetaceans.
What Is "Messages from Morgan?”
This is the first immersive documentary and communication project led by an explorer and artist in direct contact with living orca that are captive while exploring emotional intelligence, spiritual insights, and discovering environmental reflections through her lived experience.
Morgan was separated from her pod in the North Sea at just 2.5 years old. After over 15 years in captivity, her life continues in confinement off the coast of Spain with her new baby, and two fellow orca.
Through this project, we ask:
- What if she and the other orca could tell us their thoughts on life?
- What could we learn about ourselves and the planet, by listening?
- Could this be the beginning of a new kind of empathy, advocacy, and interspecies dialogue?

This next chapter introduces animal communication, cultural insights, and cutting-edge advocacy.
This is not about control, it’s about creative expression, compassion, and letting the world hear Morgan and her kin speak their truth!
